The story of Congo River Lodge began many years ago. Living in the metropolitan city of Kinshasa with a population numbering 17 million, which has created a situation, where there is too much noise, too much dust, too many sanitary problems that the city creates, and with too many responsibilities that life was asking of them, our founding fathers wanted to have their own private space away from the main city.

Where they will be able to take some time away rest in absolute tranquility, with their family and friends, take advantage of life, do fishing, play tennis, volley, and basketball, and most importantly breathe healthy air. As people say, a field that has rested gives bountiful crops.

Seeing the benefits, that they were getting from their rest, not just in their personal lives but also in their professional lives by spending some of their days there, our founding fathers wanted to extend and give everyone else who wishes the same opportunity. So, Congo River Lodge was founded, with that goal in mind, which is to give you the opportunity to rest and recharge yourself fully.
