Situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place, and although it has developed a reputation which keeps tourist visits brief, there are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum and most notably just 20 minutes from the city centre wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Upon touchdown, you will be received by our company representative and you will then head straight to your Nairobi hotel for dinner and overnight stay in the Kenya capital city Nairobi. You can have a city walk in the city to have a beautiful view and also enjoy a breathtaking moment in the city.

Situated in the magnificent Aberdare Highlands, northeast of Nairobi, Aberdare is an amazing highland safari area featuring mountains, lush forests and steep ravines teeming with the best of Africa’s varied wildlife including the majestic elephant and rhino. This area is made up of the Abedare Mountain Range, which forms part of the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley as well as a vast savanna covered moorland plateau. The sheer natural beauty of Abedare has placed it on the UNESCO World Heritage list and draws visitors from all corners of the globe.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you will drive to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya/Aberdare ranges arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Relax in preparation for the afternoon game drive which will take you through Aberdare National Park which is renowned for its game viewing of wild animals such as lion, baboons, black and white monkeys, leopards among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge which is recorded of having the highest animal’s visits and sightings in the area.
Overnight: Aberdare Country Club
The Aberdare Country Club, only a two and a half hour drive northeast from Nairobi, is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of the Great Rift Valley. This captivating site was the homestead of an English couple that decided to settle in Kenya. Almost a half century later, their home, “The Steep”, was renamed the Aberdare Country Club and opened for guests. Considered a heritage property in Kenya, The Aberdare Country Club has retained the charm of a private home with the simple comforts of a country inn.

Nakuru
Nakuru is a city on the shores of western Kenya’s Lake Nakuru, within a reserve that sprawls across almost 200 square kilometres. It is the capital of Nakuru County, located in the Great Rift Valley. Ten kilometers from town lies the massive Menengai Crater. A hiking trail leads up to the rim of this ancient caldera, offering bird’s eye views over the lake and surrounds then plunges 400 metres down to the floor below, where you will find ancient forests. Lake Nakuru National Park, surrounding Nakuru, is home to exceptional birdlife, as well as over 50 varieties of mammals. These include lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhino, antelope and various primates.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru stopping over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa lodge. Relax after lunch in preparation for the afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Return to the lodge for a candlelight dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge
Situated inside Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru Lodge is an eco-lodge that provides peerless views of wildlife and Lake Nakuru. Relax in preparation for the afternoon game drive in this enormous park reserve is known for spectacular great wildebeest migration and it’s a true home of the “big five” elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and the Cape buffalo. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
