Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Great Rift Valley Lakes and despite having no outlet, it is one of only two Rift Valley freshwater lakes. This beautiful lake is fringed by papyrus and acacia trees, a unique geologic landscape and supports a vast array of over 450 bird species. It serves as the main drinking hole for wildlife in the area such as zebra, eland, hippo, waterbuck, buffalo and much more. Visitors can look forward to excellent game viewing, intriguing night safaris, boating excursions around the lake as well as to Crescent Island for spectacular bird watching opportunities. Other popular activities include: guided nature walks, horse riding, village visits and tours to neighbouring national parks.
Day Itinerary
Meet and greet on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Hodari Kenya Safaris representatives. Thereafter receive a short briefing about your safari which gives you a clear idea of the places you are going to visit as well as the accommodation arrangements. After this, you will drive along the Great Rift Valley with the scenic views of the valley and picturesque of the escarpment to Lake Naivasha/LLake Nakuru.

Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha at the heart of the Kenyan Rift Valley and only a few minutes drive from Nairobi. The camp is constructed using canvas and has a capacity of 20 luxury tents. The tents are well furnished, have wooden floors, ensuite bathrooms with toiletries and adequate space generously created to allow free movement inside and outside at the guest’s comfort. Complimentary breakfast is offered at the luxury tent, and there is also a swimming pool for fun and relaxation.

Day Itinerary
After an early breakfast drive to the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch (150 km). With over 400 species of bird, this freshwater lake is a birding paradise. Along the lake ’ s fabled waters, we are bound to see some of the area’s more intriguing species—hippos, giraffes, buffalo, and even the arboreal colobus monkey. Lake Naivasha lies in the Great Rift Valley and the name derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning”rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise. Rest of the afternoon at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions including guided walks with naturalists or boat rides. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Nakuru
Nakuru is a city on the shores of western Kenya’s Lake Nakuru, within a reserve that sprawls across almost 200 square kilometres. It is the capital of Nakuru County, located in the Great Rift Valley. Ten kilometres from town lies the massive Menengai Crater. A hiking trail leads up to the rim of this ancient caldera, offering bird’s eye views over the lake and surrounds then plunges 400 metres down to the floor below, where you will find ancient forests. Lake Nakuru National Park, surrounding Nakuru, is home to exceptional birdlife, as well as over 50 varieties of mammals. These include lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhino, antelope and various primates.
Day Itinerary
Lake Nakuru National Park is a 1-hour drive from Naivasha. In the morning you will depart with packed lunch boxes and enjoy the day at the Lake and an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is famous for a large variety of games that can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black andWhiteRhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game. Nairobi
Situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place, and although it has developed a reputation which keeps tourist visits brief, there are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum and most notably just 20 minutes from the city centre wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
Day Itinerary
Enjoy breakfast at the camp then check out and proceed for more game viewing before departing the Masai Mara with a lunch stopover at Narok town. Later proceed to Nairobi city, check at your hotel, refresh then depart for dinner at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli National Park
