Itinerary

Nairobi

Situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place, and although it has developed a reputation which keeps tourist visits brief, there are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum and most notably just 20 minutes from the city centre wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Day Itinerary

On arrival our driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to the Hotel for check-in and refreshments.After lunch you will be picked up for a city tour which will include a visit to the national museum, Nairobi Art Gallery, and the National Archives. Later in the evening, you will go on a City walking safari, and later for a mouth-watering all you can eat dinner at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant returning to the hotel to retire.

Aberdare

Situated in the magnificent Aberdare Highlands, northeast of Nairobi, Aberdare is an amazing highland safari area featuring mountains, lush forests and steep ravines teeming with the best of Africa’s varied wildlife including the majestic elephant and rhino. This area is made up of the Abedare Mountain Range, which forms part of the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley as well as a vast savanna covered moorland plateau. The sheer natural beauty of Abedare has placed it on the UNESCO World Heritage list and draws visitors from all corners of the globe.

 

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed for a morning Game Drive at the Nairobi National Park, this is the only National Park within a city and the big five live here. After the game drive, you will proceed to the Daphne Sheld rick Elephant Orphanage to interact with orphaned elephant calves that play football. You will later proceed to the Giraffe Centre to feed the giraffes and proceed to the Mamba Village where you will interact with crocodiles and have your lunch there the children will have a lot to learn. After lunch, you will proceed to the Aberdare National Park arriving at the lodge on time for dinner and overnight bonfire.

The Aberdare Country Club, only a two and a half hour drive northeast from Nairobi, is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of the Great Rift Valley. This captivating site was the homestead of an English couple that decided to settle in Kenya. Almost a half century later, their home, “The Steep”, was renamed the Aberdare Country Club and opened for guests. Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Resting at the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountain Range, in central Kenya’s Laikipia County, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. It is also home to the last three remaining northern white rhino in the world. Originally a working cattle ranch in colonial Kenya and now a pioneering wildlife conservancy, Ol Pejeta works to protect wildlife and provide a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. The Conservancy is a popular safari destination and is home to the renowned ‘Big Five’ as well as a wide selection of other African animals including: zebra, giraffe, hippo, cheetah, jackal, serval, hyena, vervet monkey and many more. Visitors can enjoy an assortment of outdoor activities such as horse rides, game walks, and nocturnal game drives.

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart to the Ol-Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive at your lodge. Check-in followed by lunch. In the afternoon enjoy an exciting game drive in the conservancy

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Great Rift Valley Lakes and despite having no outlet, it is one of only two Rift Valley freshwater lakes. This beautiful lake is fringed by papyrus and acacia trees, a unique geologic landscape and supports a vast array of over 450 bird species. It serves as the main drinking hole for wildlife in the area such as zebra, eland, hippo, waterbuck, buffalo and much more. Visitors can look forward to excellent game viewing, intriguing night safaris, boating excursions around the lake as well as to Crescent Island for spectacular bird watching opportunities. Other popular activities include: guided nature walks, horse riding, village visits and tours to neighbouring national parks.

Breakfast at the lodge, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha arriving at the lodge/camp in time for lunch. Here you have the option of relaxing in the hotel or Option to go for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha at the heart of the Kenyan Rift Valley and only a few minutes drive from Nairobi. The camp is constructed using canvas and has a capacity of 20 luxury tents. The tents are well furnished, have wooden floors, ensuite bathrooms with toiletries and adequate space generously created to allow free movement inside and outside at the guest’s comfort. Masai Mara

The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomises Africa for many, then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further. The undeniable highlight of the Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration traversing the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. Large prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, gazelles and eland can also be spotted in the reserve. Aside from horse riding safaris and traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential.

 

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, drive to the wild famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge on time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy a PM game drive within the park. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe; over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You might see lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, Giraffe, Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs, Hyenas, and jackals, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Leopard and a variety of antelopes. You spend a full day in the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drive OPTIONAL VISIT(payments direct)to local Masai Village is conducted. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of Giraffes. Those clump of bushes a pride of lions, and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment-a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup

Amboseli National Park

Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Masaai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up for your trip to Amboseli National Park arriving at the camp in time for lunch, after lunch, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.
