Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is fairly new as far as Malaysian cities go. Founded in 1857 as a tin mining outpost, the capital has flourished and established itself as a slick and bustling metropolis. Skyscrapers dominate the skyline and on the buzzing streets below you will find some of Malaysia’s tastiest street food. Expect a vibrant mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisine, with stalls dishing out some of the city’s finest food around the clock. Hit Bukit Bintang, the city’s version of Times Square, for some retail therapy or head to the iconic Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world and attempt a stroll across the suspended sky bridge. Visit the historic monuments, stroll through the lush parks and enjoy KL’s vibrant nightlife.

Day Itinerary
Morning after breakfast transfer to Malacca. Visit the ruins of the A Famosa fortress, the Dutch Square and walk across the bridge over the river to stroll along the streets of old Malacca. Most of the old buildings have been renovated in respect of their original design and converted into curio shops. Proceed for a cruise along the Malacca
river and observe buildings with Dutch and British architectural influence. Visit the Baba & Nyonya House Museum. After lunch, see the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia (1645), and the Kampung Kling Mosque, the oldest mosque in Malacca. Lastly, stop at Bukit China (Chinese hill), the largest Chinese cemetery outside China, before departing for Kuala Lumpur. Most of the visit is a walk-about tour. Return to Kuala Lumpur. Evening, transfer to a traditional restaurant for dinner and cultural show. Return to the hotel. Overnight

Penang Island
Penang Island, off the northwestern coast of Malaysia, offers a heady blend of diverse cultures, pristine tropical beaches and rich history. Add that to its status as one of Malaysia’s foodie capitals and you have an irresistible travel destination. A key port since it was ceded to the British East India Company in 1786, Penang’s position at the opening of the Strait of Malacca has made it an important anchorage for passing trade ships. The island’s diverse historical influences are nowhere better encapsulated than in the capital George Town, with its array of beautiful old buildings, ranging from colonial mansions and clocktowers, to Chinese temples and Islamic mosques.
Day Itinerary
Early morning, departure to Penang. Along the way stop to Kuala Sepetang. Start your tour with River Cruise (Salted water fish farm, cockle harvesting area, traditional fishing village, refreshment at Floating Chalet). Visit the Matang Mangrove Forest and a Charcoal Factory. Seafood lunch in local restaurant. After lunch transfer to Bukit Merah Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, a small island in the middle of the 7,000 acre freshwater lake where a number of orang utans are kept in their natural habitat. Cross the third longest bridge in the world, that links the Peninsula and Penang Island. Check in the hotel. Private dinner in the room, Overnight.

The tour continues with the sightseeing of Georgetown city, visiting the reclining Buddha at the Wat Chayamangkalaram, the 4th longest reclining Buddha in the world. Next photo stop at the Fort Cornwallis of the East India co., where Captain Francis Light landed in 1786. Visit the heritage of the Khoo Kongsi clan house, where you will be fascinated by the detailed carvings on the walls, pillars and roofs by master craftsmen from China. Be amused by the colours, sounds, perfumes and faces of the people living in the streets of Little India by taking a short ride with the traditional trishaw.
