Lion’s Cave Camp, Samburu is a unique luxury camp in Kenya, East Africa. The Camp is in proximity to the Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserves in the country’s Northern Frontier District. This region is home to an abundance of wildlife with large herds of elephants, as well as Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs including the Samburu Special Five.
The unique architecture of this camp follows beautiful natural design which reflects the natural environment and the natural resources of the Northern frontier district.
Lion’s Cave Camp offers unique and authentic safari experiences. It’s location is one of a kind where the panoramic backdrop, dramatic rocks and cascading landscape make for an unforgettable experience.
The tents are designed to offer majestic views of the landscape and offer a cooling retreat from the African heat. The camp also has a main mess area, built on the hillside overlooking the river.
Accommodation
This camp has 3 Luxury Cottages and 3 luxury tents, accommodating up to 12 people comfortably. The rooms are named after the Samburu special five with the exception of Impala. 3 Villas named after Reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk and Grevy’s zebra with a verandah overlooking the river view and 3 medium size luxury Ngong tents named Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx and Impala. The Cottages are large and spacious, leaving ample room for extra beds if families want to stay together.
