We are a privately owned 16 (bed) lodge, within the heart of Samburu National Reserve. Perched on the meandering Ewaso Nyiro River, it offers a plethora of wildlife, fauna, flora and traditional Samburu customs. We take pride in providing you with a genuine African Safari, from start to finish. Managed and run by the traditional Samburu people, with a passion for working with each other to help better the community, within which they were so lovingly raised. Samburu Elephant Lodge prides itself on working together with these communities to provide a solid and sustainable future.

Situated along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river, comprised of 4 luxury villas and 6 deluxe villas, with more on the way, sits the beautiful Samburu Elephant lodge, aptly named for the beautiful lumbering Elephants that visit the river to quench their thirst and have a play in the river. Samburu Elephant Lodge, also prides itself on the wonderfully set our swimming pool, where you can swim with uninterrupted views of the Ewaso Nyrio River. Our Conference center holds up to 60 people, and can be used for various other functions. Our restaurant prides itself on its light, but plentiful cuisine, with multiple area’s in which for you to dine.
