Samburu Simba Lodge is located at Buffalo Springs national reserve which sits adjacent to Samburu National Reserve. The lodge is situated 300 km North of Nairobi and driving time takes approximately 5 hours. Scheduled flights from Nairobi Wilson land at Samburu Airstrip (1-hour flight) followed by a few minutes transfer to the lodge. Samburu Airstrip is 15 km from the lodge.

The lodge serves a wide variety of African and continental dishes that can be enjoyed at the on-site restaurant. Outdoor dining is available on the terrace which is fitted with four-sitter tables. There is also a well-stocked bar that offers a variety of soft drinks, choice wine, and other alcoholic drinks.
